For now, don't you want to talk about one precise subject? It's the easiest way to start a correct conversation.

Anyway, if you want my opinion, there's not a lot of mistakes in what you wrote. It was understandable for foreign people, that's what matter.

Kago> Oh glad to see you here! Your english is not that bad, just a little bit shy for the moment! I think a lot people learn how to do perfect sentences in school, but don't overthink what you want to say! If it comes naturally, you're 90% sure it's the right way to say it!

Yup, I hope we'll have to speak english again soon! I'm trying to improve my accent these days. I don't have to talk a lot in english where I live and where I study, so I begin to lose the way of talking I had taken in London.
And by the way, I'm looking for native speaker to talk to on skype. It's already difficult to find a penpal, but it's totally impossible to find a skype penpal haha!

i loove english! even if i'm not really good with it,my mom teach english so she sometimes force me to talk with her in english, even tought I make some..or maybe a lot of mistakes T-T does anyone have an english accent? '^'

HELL YEAH, TEA!

I am a tea addict. I drink from 3 to 10 cups of tea every day. Imagine how angry i am at myself if I tell you I didn't find a tea shop when I went in London with Sora. I would have bought the entire place. Next time for sure!

Anyway, I think I have a correct english accent. It's not brilliant, but I try to improve it by talking everyday and listening to english native speakers. Sometimes, my french accent fight back, but I am understandable by british people. That's what matters.
Sora has a correct accent too. It needs improvements, but it's quite good.

I think I do a lot of mistakes when I try to speak english but without mistakes , how can we learn something ?
I really like drinking tea me too ! I'm not an addict like Ena but I enjoy it sometimes , particulary when I see her , drinking tea together is so much cool :3

If you search any skype penpal who have a good accent I can't help you but I have one idea for us !

Sadly, I don't speak english as I used to do before. I still write a lot (THANKS, penpals!) but I don't find any motivation to practise everyday. However, when I do find the time, I tend to prefer the british accent. I guess it's mainly because BBC corrupted my souuul. Or because I've seen too many Monty Python shows. I don't know, maybe I just like the sound of it. It's a bit more musical than the american accent.

I still sound awfully french, though.

I'm a second year (hopefully almost third) english student so eh well my english is kind of supposed to be fluent but thanks to my grammar classes I'm always asking myself too many questions when writing (like is this the good tense I use or is this word really appropriate or is there a better one and so on) but anyway~
I've never been attracted by the USA. They have bad food, guns, horrid history and everything seem articifial and too fancy for me there. So I hope I'm speaking with the english accent, for me it's certainly the better and easier one to understand anyway.
And talking about the Monty Python you certainly won't believe me but we once watched the beginning of Holy Grail in class and nobody had heard of them before !

Yeah, I kinda share your opinion on the United States. Some of friends are gone to live there, but I feel like it's not made for me at all. I've been to England twice and I guess it's just more my thing. As you said, the accent is way more clear and understandable.

OH! They dare not have seen The Holy Grail! It was such a classic in my childhood, I used to watch it a lot. (YES, I keep saying "NI!" sometimes. Because I can. :mrgreen: )
But it doesn't surprise me that people has not seen it. I mean, it's a particular kind of humor and people from our genetations tend to watch more recent comedies. They have no idea what they miss, hehe.

I usually don't like comedy shows/movies (it's basically why I can't stand french cinema) but what the Monty Pythons do is so crazy that I kind of like it~
My favourite comedy sketch is probably the department of silly walks, I know it's stupid and well... silly ! but I just can't even ! It's sooooo funny.
I love this nonsense they put in every single sketch !
